Obstetric Fistula: Donating
For every client I receive, I save 5% of my profits until I reach $450, in order to pay the way for one woman in Ethiopia to receive obstetric fistula repair surgery and postoperative care at the Addis Ababa Fistula hospital through the Fistula Foundation. The tragedy of obstetric fistula is one that truly pushes me to try to find a way to help. I think that as birth workers, doulas and midwives can make huge changes all around the world, supporting women, and their babies and families who are less fortunate. Family is the core of every community, every where.
